Magazine Accounts Manager in Portland

Can you generate new business, create growth and build on existing relationships?
All Things Real Estate Magazine (ATRE), a Real Estate and home lifestyle magazine published by M Powered Media, is looking for an Accounts Manager. Qualified candidates should have some experience working in sales for a publication, and should have or be interested in learning digital media campaigns and how digital and print work together. No experience in real estate necessary, but can be helpful. If you’re self-motivated and possess stellar communication skills, have an interest in real estate, design, home renovation, and Portland, we want to talk with you.

Key Responsibilities: Please note: this is a commission sales position. We partner with clients to enhance their brand. Your role will be to develop relationships, answer questions and offer products and services that will generate revenue for our partners and for ATRE. You’ll be working collaboratively with an Editorial and Media team to package client campaigns. You will:

  • Build relationships within local businesses in the home, design and Real Estate industries for potential partnership opportunities
  • Work collaboratively with the ATRE team to present proposals to clients
  • Be creative in developing partnerships that reflect our brand standards and audience
  • Build and maintain strong relationships in local business communities
  • Be familiar with digital marketing and how digital and print advertising work together
  • Maintain designated hours of each work day to cold calling
  • Maintain all account tracking activity
  • Deliver timely reporting and updates to management on revenue tracking to goal


  • You’re highly responsible, collaborative, and self-motivated
  • You’re an excellent communicator with interpersonal skills, a strong work ethic
  • You have a sense of humor
  • You’re comfortable with deadlines, can manage your time and are flexible
  • You have a minimum of two year’s sales experience
  • You have a minimum of one year of ad sales experience
